Though they don’t offer a full-suite experience regarding email marketing capability, they are very reliable when you want to use your Gmail interface.
In addition, they’re several times more affordable than email marketing tools. Once you’ve chosen your favorite Gmail marketing tool, it’s time to move to the next part.

After seeing which one performs better, do away with the other one. You’ll then model your subsequent emails based on the winning email.
Finally, monitor how your email marketing will be performing. You want to know whether your efforts are panning or not. You can either collect data manually using surveys or analytic tools to get results.
For most email marketers, Gmail email marketing isn’t something they’ll wrap their heads around. It seems outdated, doesn’t have the best deliverability, and lacks automation.
